Algaecides - For control of a variety of algae that exhibit no true leaves, stems or root systems. The three general categories are planktonic, filamentous and attached-erect forms. Untreated, algae can take over the entire surface of a lake or pond. AQUA DOC will be happy to assist you with dosage rates and other information.

CUTRINE PLUS - A chelated copper algaecide. (9%) Effective against a wide variety of algae including Chara species. No restrictions on water usage following application. Available in 1, 2 1/2, 5 and 30 gallon containers.

CUTRINE PLUS GRANULAR - Recommended for control of filamentous algae and for Chara. No restrictions on water usage. Available in 10 pound box and 30 pound bags. Best used in spot treatments.

COPPER SULFATE - A basic copper compound used for years as an algaecide. Not effective in hard water. Can be toxic to fish and may be environmentally damaging. Available in 50 pound bags.

Aquatic Herbicides - For control of a variety of nuisance aquatic plant populations. From the range of products available, spot control within particular areas or selective control of specific plant species can be achieved. Products currently allowed for aquatic use are somewhat limited because of stringent government regulations. Proper use of these products may entail temporary restrictions on use of water for swimming, fish consumption, drinking, irrigation or domestic use. Local permits and/or licensing may be required on public and/or private waters.

AQUATHOL K - A concentrated liquid effective for the control of a variety of aquatic weeds. Wide margin of safety for fish and other aquatic life. Restrictions exist for irrigation and domestic use. Available in 40 pound bags (Granular) and 2 1/2 & 30 gallons.

SUPER K GRANULAR - The stronger granular formulation is preferred for small areas and spot treatments. Available in 25 pound bags.

KOMEEN - A copper-ethylenedianine complex herbicide. No restrictions on water use. Available in 2 1/2 gallon containers.

NAVIGATE - A low volatile formulation of 2,4-D (27.6% active) designed specifically for selective control of nuisance aquatic vegetation. Controls water milfoil, water stargrass, coontail, water shield, water chestnut and spatterdock. - Available in 50 pound bags.

REWARD - A concentrated liquid effective against a variety of submersed, emergent, and floating aquatic plants, including duckweed and cattails. Restrictions on water usage on animal consumption, spraying, irrigation, human drinking and swimming. Available in 1 and 2 1/2 gallon containers.

RODEO - A concentrated systemic herbicide. Effective against a variety of emergent aquatic and terrestrial grasses, broad leaf weeds, and cattails in and around aquatic sites. This product must be used with a non-ionic surfactant. Available in quarts, 2 1/2 and 30 gallon containers.

SONAR - An aquatic herbicide that is very effective for control of a variety of aquatic plants. Season-long control may be gained with an early spring application. Effective in control of duckweed and most watermeal. Available in pint, quart, and 1 gallon containers. SONAR S.R.P - (Slow release pellets) also available in 8 and 40 pound bags.

Combination Herbicides-Algaecides

CLEARIGATE - A chelated copper algaecide-herbicide formulation. Highly effective in control of filamentous algae, planktonic algae, Chara and a variety of emergent, floating and submersed aquatic plants. No water use restrictions following use. Available in 5 gallon containers.

HYDROTHOL 191 - A concentrated liquid effective against a wide variety of submersed aquatic weeds and algae. Restrictions following treatment include fish consumption, watering livestock, domestic use and swimming. Available in 2 1/2 and 30 gallon containers. HYDROTHOL 191 is also available in 40 pound bags in its granular form.

Please note that an advantage of purchasing from AQUA DOC is that we are happy to give advice on treatment rates, chemicals needed, etc. that you cannot get at the local feed store. Bring in a weed sample and we will be pleased to identify it and give you a treatment strategy to control the problem.

Please consult these agencies and product labels regarding specific regulations, restrictions, permit requirements, safety precautions and product requirements. AQUA DOC recommends the contracting of a professional aquatic specialist for water treatment.

Other Products

AQUASHADE - A blend of blue and yellow dyes specifically designed to screen or shade portions of the sunlight spectrum required by underwater aquatic plant and algae growth. Easy to apply by simply pouring in along water's edge. Product quickly disperses until coloration is achieved throughout. Available in 8 ounce and 1 gallon containers.

CYGNET-PLUS - A non-ionic, water soluble, low viscosity, biodegradable wetting agent and activator. Helps break down waxy leaf cuticle for more effective uptake on application. Available in 1, 2 1/2 and 30 gallon containers.

REJEXIT - By making grass in grazing areas unpalatable to geese, REJEXIT resolves your geese problem without harming humans or geese. After as little as one application, research shows geese leave the treated areas for better, tastier food sources. The product has been tested in cooperation with USDA's Animal Damage Control and Denver Wildlife Research center. The product meets the EPA's standards for reduced risk and is ecologically friendly, non-phytotoxic and biodegradable. Available in quart, 1 and 2 1/2 gallon containers.

REVIVE - Biological water quality enhancer. Controls a variety of aquatic plants and algae. Non-toxic and non hazardous. Uses naturally occurring bacteria to clarify water by removing nutrients needed for algae growth. Also decomposes materials suspended in the water. Available in 10 pound buckets.
